When I won the Rufus Choate scholar award or maybe it was the Javits at Dartmouth in 1973, I bought one of your paintings. My first art purchase! It was a very small snowscape in a roseate light and a delicate background of bare tree branches with the shadow lengthening across the snow and off-center fence in the foreground. Sadly, it was never returned upon relocation. So a dear friend kindly bought me one of your seashore watercolors to “replace” it. But I still miss that snow scene, being a Dartmouth grad and loving the still north particularly in winter just before dusk. Your west coast and high desert paintings are gorgeous.
Your paintings are all just beautiful! I don’t know where you find the time to paint as well as keep up with your music and all the other things you are so talented at. Bob & I are so pleased & honored to have you & Karen as our friends.
