The “Hot Cookies” is a quartet that started completely by accident in Bob Schulz’s living room following a Sunday afternoon local jazz club event. Doug and the other three of us thought the living room session was so much fun that he asked the director of the annual Fresno Mardi Gras to schedule the group for a couple of sets at the next year’s festival.
This collection of 13 tracks is audio extracted from selected videos made by Rae Ann Berry and Bill Schneider at the three Fresno Mardi Gras that we appeared in. The zip file also includes the front and back images of what would normally be a CD cover, although a CD is NOT planned. By the way, if there is enough enthusiasm for this album we may put together a volume II!
