This is one of my absolute favorite tunes, both to play and to listen to. “Standards” was recorded in the First Unitarian Universalist Church in San Francisco in 2000 with one of the best “front-lines” anyone could put together – Bob Schulz on cornet, Jim Rothermel on reeds and Mike Starr on trombone.

This is one of my favorite Irving Berlin tunes.  We recorded it in 1999 on our third CD, “Big Machine.” We added the second trumpet of Bob Neighbor to the front line—hence the title of the CD, “Big Machine.”
